Cinnamon, mulberry leaf and bitter melon are all named in the Kosugar flyer. Familiar plants can make a formula feel easy to understand, yet an extract is more than the name of the plant it comes from.
The preparation matters
Plant part, extraction method and concentration influence what a preparation contains. Two products that both list cinnamon, for example, may still use different materials and amounts. The supplied flyer is not a substitute for those technical specifications.
The blend matters too
Kosugar also contains Gymnema, okra and sakura. Results from research on one of the six ingredients cannot simply be added together to predict the effect of the finished tablet. A combined formula deserves its own evaluation.
Questions worth asking
Request the current ingredient panel and ask how much of each extract a serving provides. If a health claim is supported by a study, check whether the studied preparation and dose match the actual product. This is a more useful comparison than counting familiar botanical names.
TAKEAWAY
Familiar botanicals are a starting point for understanding Kosugar, not a shortcut to predicting its performance.
